Mitsubishi WD-73738 73-Inch 3D DLP HDTV
I bought this set to replace a Mistu 65 in DLP because it was non-3D. This television has a tip notch picture, fantabulous 3D capability, and a fantastic price.
The upside of DLP is an splendid picture, relatively slim size for a rear projection, and a lightweight design. (the 73 inch set1 weighs less than my 2 40 in plasmas) The downside is that it requires a projecter lamp change when the bulb wears out at a price of most $100. My previous set8 was four years old and I never had to replace0 the lamp. They last from 3000 to 10,000 hours of use.
After the firmware update on these televisions (they will either arrived that way new from the factory or can be updated Mitsubishi WD-73738 by pluggin an internet cable into the back of the set) they may exist employed with DLP Link manner glasses and requires no emittor.
My only issue is that for some reason, with the settings on “DLP Link” the television will not ship out the 3D sign at each use. Every time you cycle the TV exit and then die back and desire to utilisation the 3D mode, I experience to call up the menu, de-select “DLP LINK” and take “Emittor”, then switch back to “DLP Link” again to get it to output the signal. I believe that is a software issue that I hope will exist corrected at the next update.
